"A game changer for me!!!! So far this experience/course has been AMAZING! Not only in the warm sense of community that our insanely talented instructors have made, but a lifelong group to learn and share information we have been taught. We get a real sense of community within our group and grow together as artists to work as a collaboration vs a competition!! We can share information and cultivate greatness!!! So far I love this group so much and I cannot stress the amount of knowledge that you will learn to make yourself not only proficient in permanent makeup but proficient in client care, aftercare, and all the tiny sub groups that is imperative to know if you plan to make a lasting career out of PMU! This course has gone above and beyond. I've taken many courses prior to this one and I wish I had found it before I spent money on the others, as this course teaches you the things that you should know as an artist from color charting, buisness acumen, needle choices and difficult client case studies on how to get the best retention in each situation. I cannot stress enough the changes it helped me make in my business. It has taught me how to build and start my own business from A-Z and gave me the confidence and expertise to get myself where I wanted to be... if you’re already certified and looking to learn all the ins an outs of permanent make up and cosmetic tattooing then this is the course for you… 10 outta 10!!!"

“PMU Collaborative is the best place for you to get ready for work and your career. PMU Collaborative covers everything from basic to advanced which includes color theory, history of needles, machines to legal stuff to protect yourself and clients.
Mind opening for me when I joined and to learn from Texas Dela Rosa, Mary Hall Scott and Laura McElroy.
They’re the best of the best. Very grateful to know and join them on this journey. Thanks”

"I cannot say enough great things about this course! Let me start off by saying, I am a “hands on” learner. I have taken several online courses after my initial training and felt like there was almost no hope. I felt discouraged. I sometimes still do. But in the short amount of time I’ve been taking this course, I have learned SO MUCH!
The team that put this program together is phenomenal. They have laid everything out in a way I can read and actually retain the knowledge.
Color Theory is a subject that has always petrified me. But now I know how to find the information for the colors of pigments I use and how to actually apply them to my guests to give them a great service.
I’ve learned about different numbing creams and HOW they work and WHY some are better than others for different services I am providing.
I’ve learned about different tools to use and which ones are the best choice for my guests depending on their particular needs.
I highly recommend this course to anyone who feels like they are struggling. It is a GAME CHANGER!"

"I feel like I won the lottery being in the PMU Collab! I thought I had the education I needed
after learning and being certified by many different teachers and masters. As it turns out,
there is a lot of misinformation out there. This learning platform starts you at business
acumen and forces you to level up your social media skills which the market demands. This
collab also dispelled myths in teachings. It gives you facts, tried and true methods in PMU
pigmentology, color theory and much more. Most importantly, it levels up our industry by
stressing collaboration, which strengthens us in this industry. The mentors are generous
with all of the information, want you to succeed, and work tirelessly to do that. Mary said it all when she said #wearestrongertogether

My name is Holly Barding. I have been a pmu artist for over 5 years now. I have taken many in person and online courses to try and perfect my craft. Being chosen to participate in the first "Collab" group training was one of the best things that could have happened to me. Not only did I learn so much more about permanent makeup techniques, color theory, pigments, needles, machines, numbing, aftercare, etc. I also learned the business side of pmu. Marketing, accounting, insurance, branding, advertising, social media, etc. This is the important stuff that normal pmu trainers do not teach you. There is work they ask you to commit to, but believe me when I say it will make you better and your business will be better for it too.Mary, Texas, and Laura are professional and yet so approachable at the same time. They care about this industry. This is a journey you do not want to miss. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions at H.B. Permanent Cosmetics.

The PMU Collaborative is an absolute must take course for all PMU artists wanting to take their career to the next level. The learning platform is like nothing else you will find. I personally jumped into my own PMU business with basic skills and very little knowledge of the business side of PMU. I wish I could have taken this course sooner! I have so much more knowledge to succeed in my business and advanced skills that has improved my work as an artist. I love that this course is taught by three amazing instructors, Mary Hall Scott, Texas Dela Rosa and Laura M. McElroy. These instructors not only bring a range of knowledge to the course, but they truly care about their students and the PMU industry.

I have learned so much from the PMU Collab! I have taken a lot of courses in my 2 years+ in this industry. This is the first time I have gotten a “great” education! I know color theory, my first education is in cosmetology. Every course I’ve taken in the past has touched on color theory. But I’ve learned in the Collab how to understand the colors (pigments) I’m working with. I know have a much clearer understanding of what is creating the color and what is fading away in the color. That’s an “aha” moment! You’ll never truly be good at PMU if you don’t understand this.
Technology is another area that I learned a lot in. I now understand the difference in machines, voltage and cartridges. Again I say if you don’t know this stuff, you will not make a “great” artist!
So much invaluable information in the PMU Collab course. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to take the course! The best thing I’ve done for business yet!!

“I love the support In this group. I have not once felt silly or stupid for asking a question. It has definitely helped me to not feel
alone in this industry. The sister/brotherhood has been so rewarding.”
